AWANITA offers campers a great place to enjoy the woods, have fun with old friends, and to set aside time to hear from God.  Located in Marietta, South Carolina, AWANITA VALLEY will provide His Kids Campers with the perfect place to sing, hear from God's Word, and to shout it out with HIS KIDS!

Camp Costs

This year the cost for camp is $100 for kids.  Parents of children in KINDERGARTEN HAVE TO attend camp with their kids.    Parent’s cost is $120.  

Children of families who are not members at Temple Baptist Church must pay full price for camp, which is $221.

The cost includes: all meals, accommodations, recreation time, games, & all of the bible study materials.

Deadline for $50 deposit is May 9th & balances are due June 13th.

AWANITA VALLEY CHRISTIAN RETREAT CENTER offers basketball, sand-court volleyball, and large fields that can be used for various activities including football, ultimate Frisbee, & group games.  At HIS KIDS CAMP we’ll have organized games, and you will also have ample time for free         recreation time.

Camp Food

All of your meals are provided in the camp cost.  All three meals are in GRANDMA’S PLACE, the dining hall.  Meals are buffet and with a built-in stage and sound system help make the meal time more than just your average dining experience!

Camp Recreation

Everyday at camp will be an adventurous day.  In addition to the team competitions and team tournaments there will be plenty of time for FREE TIME recreation on your own!

AWANITA is famous for their HUMMER RIDES! Get ready to get muddy! Old clothes are probably a good idea!

Camp Quarters

Campers will need to bring sheets, pillows, blankets, bedspreads, and towels.  The dorms feature bunk beds.  Choose your partner carefully!  Please note the dorms are air conditioned.  We will have dorms for guys and for girls.  These are self contained units that provide shower and sleeping space for campers.

Registration and Cancellation Policy

Deposits and other camp fees are non-refundable. As reservations are made we have to turn in those reservations to the camp.  Transfers of deposits and fees are allowed to other campers, but the campers must find their own replacements.

Place deposit in the Children’s Ministry Event Registration Envelope.  Those can be found at the Welcome Center desk. 

We must have a current Medical Release Form for each camper, as well. You can get one at our church office.
